“Immanuel: God is with Us”(click link to listen)

  • I served in ministry for several years with my good friend Brandon Bradley. Every Sunday, he greeted the congregation with “Immanuel,” and the congregation responded with “God is with us.” Before we left to follow different ministry assignments, I was inspired to write this song based on Brandon’s focus on Jesus as Immanuel, as the God who will never leave us or forsake us.

“I am Overwhelmed” (click to listen)

  • My good friend Erin was trying to describe the blessings of God upon her family, and she said the only word that kept coming to mind was “overwhelmed.” She said I should write a song about being overwhelmed by the goodness of God, so I did.

“Growing in the Spirit” (click link to listen)

  • This song is a prayer that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will grow in the knowledge, grace, love, and Spirit of Jesus, both personally and corporately (2 Pet. 3:18; Eph. 4:12-15; Col. 1:28).

“Reclaim the Mission” (click to listen)

  • As followers of Jesus, our mission is not to attend a worship service or a class once a week while we live as we want the other six days. Our mission is to follow Jesus, to grow to look more like Him, to bring others into a relationship with HIm, and to encourage each other along the way as we travel the road together.

“Transforming Grace” (click to listen)

  • If you have encountered Jesus, then you have been changed. If you have experienced His grace, then you are being transformed by it. We may meet people whom we don’t believe deserve the grace of God. None of us deserve His grace, but we are all in desperate need of it. As His grace continues to transform your life, allow His grace to flow out of your heart to affect those around you.

“Simple Invitation” (click to listen)

  • I wrote this song to accompany a sermon on the calling of Matthew (Matt. 9:9-13). I wrote new verses to go with the old traditional chorus “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus.”
